....:::: UNIVERSO SNIPER AIRSOFT ::::.... La ICS CXP UK-1 Captain

Intro
Corría el año 2015, cuando la compañia I Chih Shivan, ó ICS, lanza a las redes el programa de Capitanes de ICS, buscando a jugadores que quisieran representar a la marca en eventos, a cambio de poder testear los nuevos modelos que lanzara la marca antes que nadie, recibir regalos especiales para el Capitán, o tener la posibilidad de poder ir al Shot Show o al IWA, de la mano de ICS, aparte de poder asistir a eventos de airsoft representando a la marca. Desde el mes de Junio hasta el 31 de Agosto del 2015, se presentaron las candidaturas de los jugadores que querían acceder al programa, con los requisitos a cambio que se pedían de tener un nivel alto de inglés, ser capaz de escribir revisiones de material, y tener experiencia en el campo del airsoft, con valores puntuables en tener web propia, años que se llevaba jugando, ser capaz de hacer modificaciones o reparaciones en nuestras armas, o incluso hacer videos para las revisiones que se iban a pedir, o ser capaz escribirlas y documentarlas con fotos. 50 personas fueron las elegidas por ICS para comenzar el programa, todo un éxito para la marca, ya que tiene a día de hoy una representación mundial en paises como Estados Unidos, Japón, Reino Unido, Bélgica, Holanda, Suecia, Turquía, sin obviar la presencia en Hispanoamérica, en México, Argentina o Chile, aparte de España, que somos dos personas las elegidas.

It was the year 2015, when the airsoft company I Chih Shivan, presented on the net its program ICS Captain, looking for players who wants to represent the brand at different kind of events, in exchange of testing new models and products that launched the brand before anyone else, receive special gifts for the Captain, or have the chance to go Shot Show or IWA with ICS, apart from being able to attend airsoft events representing the brand. From the month of June to August 31th, 2015, were the nominations of the players who wanted to access the program, with some requirements like be fluent in English, be able to write reviews of different kind, have experience in the field of airsoft, with values qualifying for instance to have its own website, years of experience playing games, being able to make modifications or repairings on our airsoft guns, or even video making for further reviews or writing this reviews in text/pics. 50 people were chosen by ICS to start the program, a great success for the brand, since it has today a global representation in countries like United States, Japan, United Kingdom, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden, Turkey, without obviating the presence in Latin America, with Mexico, Argentina, or Chile, apart from my country, Spain, where two people were chosen.

¿Un modelo con el nombre del programa?

Conforme van pasando los meses, y nos vamos conociendo el grupo de Capitanes, ICS, nos da la primera sorpresa, ya que nos anuncia el lanzamiento de uno de sus modelos de la familia CXP Transform4, el cual recibirá el nombre de Captain, y con lanzamiento en dos colores, negro y tan, así como con y sin culata, pero la mejor noticia estaba por llegar: las recibiriamos nosotros primero para testarla y probarla.

A model with the name of the program?

As the months go by, and we get to know the group of captains, ICS gives us the first surprise, since they announced the launch of one of its models from CXP TRansform4 family, which will be called Captain, in two colors, black and tan, as well as with and without buttstock, but the best news was that we was going to be the first to receive and test it!

	La caja no presenta la imagen del producto, como estamos acostumbrados a otros modelos de ICS. Si tiene como motivo decorativo el icono de la figura de ajedrez. Así mismo figura la marca, el logo con la leyenda de la compañía, y especifica que es un modelo eléctrico. The box does not present the image of the product, as we are accustomed to other models of ICS. It has the icon of the figure of chess as a decorative motif. Also present the logo with the company legend, and specifies that it is an electric model.
	La caja como maleta incluye el logo de la familia a la que pertenece el modelo, así como las advertencias típicas de seguridad, en éste caso en idioma español, ya que se ha recibido directamente desde el distribuidor. The box and suitcase includes the logo of the family to which the model belongs, as well as typical safety warnings in this case Spanish language, as it has been received directly from the distributor for Spain and Portugal.
	En el lado derecho de la maneta de la caja, tenemos la indicación del modelo del catálogo de ICS, familia CXP, y que tiene el cableado trasero. On the right side of the handle of the box, we have the type designation in ICS catalog, family CXP, and has rear wiring for its functionability.

	Abrimos la caja y lo primero que nos encontramos es una tira de espuma de poliuretano que cubre todo el contenido, sirviendo de amortiguación y cómo protección para agentes externos como polvo o luz solar. 	Y aquí tenemos el modelo empaquetado en un molde termoplástico en su presentación en caja. El color elegido es tan, y viene con culata MTR. And here we have the model packaged in a thermoplastic mould in his presentation boxed. The chosen colour is tan, and comes with MTR stock.
	En el zócalo del cargador, de alta capacidad, aparte del mismo, encontramos la conocida bolsa de muestra de bolas de la marca bajo el mismo, y algunas cosas más que desvelaremos más tarde. 	La parte delantera presenta un guardamanos muy corto, dado que el modelo está orientado a su uso en partidas CQB. 	En un arma de color tan, el uso de grafías en color blanco quedan excelentes ya que ayudan a su lectura. Hubiera sido conveniente el rellenar los huecos de las letras del selector en ese mismo color blanco, y en el logo de la compañía en la parte superior del pistolete. Nada que no podamos hacer nosotros mismos con un poco de pintura para maquetas. Por otro lado, nada más que decir del conocido selector de modos de disparo de la serie Colt/Armalite. Una de las cosas que más me ha gustado del modelo, es que al poner el seguro, se libera la tensión del muelle. A weapon in tan colour, the use of graphs in white are great because they help reading. It would have been convenient to fill gaps in the letters of the selector in the same white color, and the company logo at the top of the pistol grip. Nothing we can not do ourselves with some paint for models. On the other hand, nothing more to say about the well known fire selector modes from Colt\/Armalite series. 	El pistolete es completamente anatómico, con los ribetes para apoyar tu pulgar de la mano disparadora, y otro para ayudar al agarre del dedo anular. The pistol grip is fully anatomical, with borders to support your thumb of the trigger hand, and another to help the grip ring finger. It is rough on the sides to aid in the use of gloves and the trigger guard ring is large enough for your index finger with a thick glove.
	La culata es del modelo MTR. El diseño de la misma es original y presenta varias posiciones para adaptarse al tamaño del jugador. Aquí la podemos ver completamente cerrada. La longitud así es de 61.7 cm. The buttstock is the MTR model. The same design is original and presents various positions to adapt to the size of the player. Here we can see it completely closed. The length like that is 61.7 cm.
	Y aquí la tenemos completamente extendida, en sus cinco posiciones. Ahora la longitud se nos ha ido a 69.3 cm. And here we have it fully extended, on its five positions. Now the lenght is 69.7 cm.
	La cantonera de la culata es de goma, y se encuentra firmemente unida a la misma mediante dos tornillos Philips. The butt plate is rubber, and is firmly attached to the same with two Philips screws.

	En la culata tenemos un zócalo para montar un pulsador giratorio y añadir corréas porta fusil. In the buttstock we have a socket for mounting a push swivel and add a sling for the gun.

	La culata se desmonta empujando del lado contrario al pescante de ajuste, y tirando hacia detrás hasta sacarla de las guías de su asentamiento, lo que nos deja esta imagen. 	Los fusibles son del tipo que se usan en los coches, así que no tendréis problemas de encontrarlos en una tienda de repuestos de coche. En éste caso, el que nos ocupa de la imagen, es de 20 amperios. The fuses are of the type used in cars, so you will not have problems to find them in a store of car spare parts. 	Al fondo del tubo de la culata, tenemos el tornillo que fija la misma al cuerpo. At the bottom of the buffer tube, we have the screw that secures it to the body.

	Esta enorme bocacha es completamente metálica y es de diseño unico. Tiene dos acanaladuras como apagallamas y el frontal es de tipo corona, y está fabricado en acero. 	El frontal de la bocacha permite ver el cañón interior, el cual sobresale unos milímetros del exterior. The frontal part of the flash hider allows to see inner barrel, which protrudes a few millimeters from the outside barrel.
	En ésta instantánea podemos ver el cañón interior con mejor detalle. Como puede observarse, la bocacha presenta una rosca de -14mm en sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj, y una vez desenroscado, con lo que podemos montar silenciadores a nuestro gusto. 	Me atrevería a decir que en el modelo que lleva el cableado delantero, no debe de ser muy difícil el montar la batería en el hueco que presenta el guardamanos y el cañón interno. 	Otro detalle que me ha encantado es que el modelo ya traiga de serie una anilla doble para montar correas, y decorada con el logo de la marca, y hecho en acero. 	Pasemos a las pruebas de crono. Las condiciones del día de la prueba eran día soleado con 22°C, ligero viento del Oeste, 17 km/h, humedad relativa 70%, y presión atmosférica 1012 hPa. Se usaron bolas Duel Code de 0.20 gramos versión bio, y la Captain iba propulsada por una batería LiPo de 7.4 voltios/35C. Semiautomático en series de 5 disparos. Let Chrono tests. 	Y los aditamentos de la caja, que venían en el zócalo del cargador: una bolsa de muestra de bolas ICS, dos fusibles de repuesto, y una pequeña llave para colimar la mira delantera. 	En primer lugar, quitamos el pin trasero que se encuentra sobre el pistolete. No saldrá de su emplazamiento, por lo que no se perderá. Empújalo firmemente, pero con delicadeza. 	Después sacamos el conjunto cámara del hopup - cañón interior. Then we get the joint Hop up chamber - inner barrel.

	El cañón interno está terminado en un material negro oscuro, que me atrevería a decir que es alumino anodizado. Su longitud es de 18.6 cm. The inner barrel is finished in a dark black material, which I daresay is anodized aluminum. Its lenght is 18.6 cm.
	El nozzle o inyector, es modelo largo, por lo que deduzco es propietario de la marca y modelo. The nozzle is a long model, so I gather it's been made specifically for this model.

	Volvemos a montar todo en su sito, encajando el nozzle dentro de la cámara del hopup, con suavidad sin forzar nada. We return to mount everything o its place, snapping the nozzle inside the Hopup chamber, gently without forcing anything.
	Y empujándolo todo hasta el fondo. And pushing it all the way down.

Después de probar y testar, puedo decir que el modelo me gusta sobremanera, y que ha sido un acierto el lanzamiento, siendo el alcance con telémetro con un cañón tan pequeño, de los 50 metros sin problemas. Además es LiPo ready, ya que puede usar sin problemas baterías LiPo de última generación. Cosas que tendría que tener en cuenta ICS que me hubiera gustado que se implementaran en éste modelo:

Hay que apostar por los conectores de batería T-dean, o incluso pasar ya a los XT60 o XT90, de uso tan extendido ya en el mercado, y dejar de usar los micro Tamiya que son el pasado.
No comprendemos como un modelo como éste, no incluya la opción de un MOSFET, y más con un gearbox tan sencillo de reparar y mantener. Hay que apostar por el uso de electrónica en los nuevos lanzamientos.
Faltan un par de cosas que hubiera incluido en la caja del modelo: unos railes RIS para poder montar lo que se nos ocurriera en los laterales en los keymod, y uno inferior, que me lleva al siguiente punto,
¿Cómo es que el modelo no lleva un grip para poner en el guardamanos delantero?
