Intro

En 2007, Magpul introdujo el primer sistema de conexión espacial negativo para armas de fuego, el cual se llamo sistema de ranuras MOE. Ya no era necesario usar un rail Picatinny, como intermediario, y los accesorios podían montarse directamente en el guardamanos y en otras superficies. Luego de unos años, otros sistemas de fijación directa han ido llegando al mercado, donde el acceso a la parte posterior de la superficie de montaje ya no era necesaria, con lo que se consiguió una mejora en usabilidad. Después de pruebas en la mesa de vibraciones, miles y miles de disparos realizados en el campo de tiro, pruebas de caída, pruebas de desmontaje, tiempo de fabricación y estudios de materiales, Magpul dio un paso hacia el futuro con el desarrollo del sistema de ranuras M-LOK, como la mejor solución en cada métrica estudiada. El sistema M-LOK es más fuerte, más fácil y más rápido de mecanizar, no tiene aristas agudas, tiene soporte de tope y retroceso de cuatro puntos, su posición es ajustable en detalle, es replicable, y generalmente se considera visualmente más atractivo. Recientemente, ICS ha sido autorizada oficialmente por Magpul para usar el estándar M-LOK, lo que nos permite proporcionar más diseños en nuestro catálogo de airsoft. In 2007, Magpul introduced the first negative space attachment system for firearms with what became the MOE slot system. No longer was it necessary to use a Picatinny rail as an intermediate, and accessories could be direct-mounted to hand guards and other surfaces.Fast forward a few years. Other direct attachment systems came to market where access to the backside of the mounting surface was no longer needed...an improvement in usability. After shaker table testing, thousands upon thousands of rounds of live fire testing, drop testing, pullout testing, and manufacturing time and material studies, Magpul developed and moved forward with the M-LOK slot system as a better solution in every metric studied.
M-LOK is stronger, easier and faster to machine, has no sharp corners, has full four way recoil lug support, is adjustable in small increments for position, is repeatable,
and is generally considered visually appealing. Now ICS has been officially authorized by Magpul to use M-LOK standard, allowing us to provide more reliable products for the future of the airsoft industry. The newly design M-LOK system handguard has not only the modern outline but also pretty lightweight and strong structure by CNC machining so that the shooters can perform the best as they can.

	En este caso, el modelo que vamos a revisar es la más corta de la familia, el modelo MMR SBR, en color negro, y que lleva de serie integrado un MOSFET para poder usar baterías LiPo, y con cableado trasero. En la solapa de apertura de la caja tenemos la info completa. 	En el lado izquierdo de la solapa tenemos diferentes logos con alguno de los modelos que fabrica la marca. En este caso, estamos viendo un ejemplar de la extensa familia CXP, que tantos éxitos le ha traido a ICS. 	¿Abrimos la caja?, a primera vista, el modelo tiene una apariencia estupenda. Lineas estilizadas y agresivas, con un guardamanos M-Lok, que veremos más tarde con más detenimiento. Dentro de la caja, tenemos el manual de instrucciones, cargador T-Mag de 300 bolas, con ventana transparente, una bolsa con fusibles de repuesto, una bolsa de muestra de bolas de ICS, y la herramienta para desenroscar la corona del cañón exterior del cuerpo. 	La culata que equipa este modelo es la CTR, normal a otras plataformas del fabricante. Dependiendo del mismo, tenemos las culatas MTR (un estilo a la crane stock) y UKSR, para tirador selecto. Tiene dos ventanas en su parte superior, y varias posiciones de apertura-cierre, para adaptarse a la situación y al tamaño del jugador. Como detalle, al final del buffer tube, tenemos unas anillas para montar correas porta fusa. The stock that equips this model is the CTR, normal to other platforms of the manufacturer. 	El cableado de conexión a la batería es un poco justo, por lo que insertar la batería, y poder darle juego para introducirla en el buffer tube, costará un poco, pero nada a lo que no te acostumbres con el tiempo de tanto hacerlo. 	El guardamanos M-Lock en metal, se corresponde con una plataforma de 10 pulgadas. En el resto de modelos de la familia, los tamaños pasan por las 13 de la carabina y las 15 pulgadas del DMR. 	Ahora creo que sí lo he conseguido. Como puedes ver a la entrada del hop up chamber, la forma que presenta, y dónde tiene que engarzar con el nozzle, está lo mejor conseguido, para evitar que haya demasiadas fugas de aire, por lo que puedo decir que ésta cámara es de muy buena calidad. Conozco compañeros que han montado otros modelos que hay en el mercado, de cámaras de hop y bastante caros, todo hay que decirlo, y apenas se ha notado diferencia en rendimiento, pero como siempre digo, la elección es tuya. 	Me acerco de nuevo un poco y fijo mi atención sobre el engranaje central, para poder apreciar el engrasado que presenta. 	Las miras son CFS, del tipo abatible. Están fabricadas en polímero reforzado con fibra de nylon de alta resistencia. Son de perfil muy bajo y no interfieren con tus ópticas. 	Para ajustarlas, no necesitamos herramientas de ningún tipo. Offer easy tool-less elevation and windage adjusment.
	Se activan gracias a un muelle que hace más sencillo el presentarlas. The spring loaded sight provides inmediate deployment and collapse with a solid feel.
	Y por supuesto completamente compatibles con raileras Picatinny. And of course, it's compatible with all types of Milspec 1913 Picatinny mounting rail systems.
	La bocacha, es completamente metalica, casi sale desde el interior del guardamanos. The muzzle is fully metallic, almost out from the inside of the handguard.
	Presenta tres acanaladuras y unos taladros que le dan una forma de T. It has three grooves and drills that give it a T shape, seen from its top plane.
	Una vez pasamos al plano horizontal, el diseño cambia bastante, con dos ventanas apaisadas realizando un vaciado. Once we move to the horizontal plane, design changes enough, with two windows oblong to performing a vacuum.

Probándola

Hacemos medición de crono del modelo. Usamos bolas biodegradables de 0.20, y el día de la medida tenemos una temperatura ambiente de 18�C, y una humedad del 75%, en series de cinco disparos, y tres tandas, y hemos usado una batería LiPo de 7.4V, 1200 mAh y 35C recién cargada, con un crono Xcortech X3200, y aquí los resultados medidos en FPS:

1� tanda: 309, 301, 306, 311, 308

2� tanda: 305, 309, 307, 303, 304

3� tanda: 306, 312, 305, 301, 310

En el test de distancia, y usando las miras mecánicas, hemos sido capaces de acertar a un torso humano a 49 metros de distancia, medido con telémetro y ajustando el hop al máximo de distancia tensa.

Testing

We chrono the model. We use bio .20 BBs, and the day of the test we have an ambient temperature of 18�C, and a humidity of 75%. We shot in series of five rounds, and three passes, using a LiPo battery of 7.4V, 1200 mAh and 35C freshly loaded, with a Xcortech X3200 chrono, and here you have the results in FPS:

1� pass: 309, 301, 306, 311, 308

2� pass: 305, 309, 307, 303, 304

3� pass: 306, 312, 305, 301, 310

In the distance test, and using the mechanical sights, we were able to hit a human torso 49 meters away, measured with a rangefinder and adjusting the hop to the maximum of tense distance.

En resumen

Un modelo estupendo con el que me he sentido muy cómodo, esta MMR SBR, y que al ser una plataforma de tamaño medio, 10 pulgadas, creo que puede satisfacer tus necesidades de buena manera, pero siempre teniendo en cuenta que es mi opinión personal. Es posible que tú prefieras irte a las 13 pulgadas de la carabina o incluso que quieras las 15 del DMR, pero una cosa sí que te aseguro: no te va a defraudar. Con MOSFET de serie, vas a poder usar Lipos de 7.4 o de 11.1, y esa railera M-Lok le da un aspecto realmente interesante. ¿Precio?, puedes conseguirla ya en tiendas en Europa y nos vamos a los 390 euros.

Summary

A super model that I felt very comfortable, this SBR MMR, and to be a platform for medium-sized, 10-inch, I think that it can satisfy your needs in a good way, but always taking into account that it is my personal opinion.
